brief courses or reading published articles. All OBHS CE Certificates are
emailed to participants. You
may use your credit card via Pay Pal for ordering the Continuing
Education items. After you complete the Pay Pal transaction, return
to the Orlandobehaviorhealth.org website to download your course(s). OR
You may use regular mail to send a check and registration form to us

Analysts (certified by the BACB) and Psychologists. HIPAA is a
federal law pertaining to confidentiality of paper and electronic
client/patient information and records and includes procedures and
penalties pertaining to patient personal medical information. All
BCBAs/ BCaBAs as well as psychologists must be aware of this federal law,
how it affects you as a "health care practitioner," procedures
required for ensuring confidentiality of client medical records and
personal health-care information, and potential penalties for violating

federal law and supersedes state law protecting healthcare information, and

Facts, Myths & Principles. This BCBA & Licensed
Psychologist Course worth 6 CE credits is available on line. Authored by Ennio
Cipani, Ph.D., the course provides the professional with a conceptual
knowledge of punishment, contrasting a procedural versus outcome-oriented
definition. The book, Punishment on Trial: A Resource Guide to Child Discipline
(free on-line) is the main source of the material for the course. This book
presents the reading material in the form of questions (like a trial
attorney would to an expert witness), and then provides empirical research
and many real clinical examples from the author’s work as a licensed
psychologist for 26 years in California in child behavior analysis and
therapy. Upon completion of the
course, the participant will also receive a gift, a PDF
